The Student Success Conference is an opportunity for Rutgers–New Brunswick faculty and staff to share their work, network with colleagues across departments, develop new skills, and advance student success work across the campus.

Keynote: Dr. Amelia Parnell
Dr. Amelia Parnell is the President of NASPA and a renowned thought leader in higher education, recognized for her expertise on emerging trends and student-centered strategies. She is a passionate advocate for using higher education as a tool for personal advancement and impact. A sought-after keynote speaker, Dr. Parnell addresses topics such as college affordability, student learning outcomes, and data analytics, with her insights featured in The Wall Street Journal, Chronicle of Higher Education, and PBS NewsHour. Her keynote for the Student Success Conference, titled 4 Keys to Helping Students Succeed in a Changing Higher Education Landscape, will offer actionable insights to navigate and support student success in today’s evolving environment. She has served on the EDUCAUSE Board of Directors and chaired the Higher Education Equity Network, advancing equity and innovation. Dr. Parnell, author of You Are a Data Person, holds a Ph.D. in higher education from Florida State University and degrees in business administration from Florida A&M University.

Monthly Student Success Workshops
As a companion to the main conference, the Student Success Workshop Series provides an opportunity to deepen and expand our work in service to our students. Through continued engagement with faculty and staff colleagues, we will share timely and relevant information, strengthen personal connections, and foster collaborations across Rutgers–New Brunswick.
